Mario Bernal

July 5, 1954 - October 2, 2014
It is with deep and heavy sadness we announce the death of Mario Leza Bernal who passed quietly and entered thru the gates of heaven on October 2nd, 2014. Mario is preceded in death by mother Concepcion Leza Esparza, brother Anthony Esparza. He is survived by father Rogelio Bernal; stepdad Jose Esparza II; his children Angelita and Gabrielle Bernal, James Hernandez; Grandchildren Nico Bernal, Rebecca and Anisa Garza, Eva and Jasmine Hernandez; sisters Barbara, Theresa, Guadalupe, Yolanda, Janie, brother Jose. Numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

God took you in his arms,
He saw you needed rest,
His garden must be beautiful,
For He only takes the best.
Dad you are loved and missed.
Gone but never forgotten, we will take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us.

Visitation will be held Friday October 10th, 2014 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Funeral Caring, 6902 NE Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas, 78219, followed by graveside services at 1:15 pm at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
