David Michael Dick

 

 

Dave Dick, age 61, passed away Oct 30, 2008 after battling cancer. He attended high school in Turkey and the American University in Paris and graduated from Ohio State. He served as an Information Officer in the Air Force. In 1996 he retired from the Calif. Dept. of Fish & Game where he was an Information Officer and Editor of "Outdoor California". Dave enjoyed golf, traveling, hiking, his "critters" and reunions with his classmates. Dave is survived by his brother, Bill Dick (Lael) of Lakewood, Wash., and sister, Deborah Dick of University Place, Wash. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Connie Clark, Tara Pierce, Mickey Fausett, Alexia Retallack and Janice Cowden for the love, care and compassion they gave Dave in his final days. In keeping with Dave's wishes there will be no services. Interment will be in the family plot in Claremore, Okla. Donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
