Thomas Jessie Becerra's heart of gold stopped Wednesday, October 31 at JFK Medical Center. Born in Chicago Illinois, he moved to Enid, Oklahoma where he became a skilled fisherman and Boy Scout. Relocating in his early teens, to Crete, Greece, Tommy assumed the role of a world traveler. He attended embassy schools in Zaragoza, Spain and Ankara and Karamursel, Turkey; graduating in 1972. Tommy was an avid reader and casual linguist, also an excellent guitar player and singer. Always a hard worker, he started as a paperboy; managed European Hostels, worked as an Architectural draftsman and managed the Miami-Dade Community College bookstore. He is preceded in death by his brother Gerald Becerra and greatly missed by his Mother and Father, Eloy and Marcella Becerra, Sisters, Cynthia Nieva and Dina Clingman-Bell , brother in laws - Scott Clingman and Chris Bell, nieces and nephews - Latisha, Nicole, Caitlin, Cassidy, Tommy Scott and Graham.
