Thomas Juhl Thomas A. Juhl, 66, of Piqua, originally of Minnesota, died at 12:22 am Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Chris A. and Ida (Messick) Juhl. He married Christine F. Kleiner March 31, 1972 in Dayton; and she survives. Other survivors include a son John Christopher Juhl; a brother Richard (Dawn) Juhl of Minnesota; mother-in-law Thelma Kleiner of Sidney; sister-in-law Terri Wehrman; brother-in-law Charles (Susan) Kleiner; nieces and nephews; best friends, the Wigands, Sturgeons and Cobbs; and his faithful friend, his dog, "Cooper." He was preceded in death by his father-in-law John Kleiner. Mr. Juhl earned a degree in Psychology. He attended the Middle East Technology University of Istanbul and Robert College in Turkey. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the City of Dayton and was member and Past Master of the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge of Minnesota. He enjoyed his family, friends, genealogy and was an avid fisherman. A service to honor his life will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday March 17, 2011 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Gillenwater officiating followed by full military honors being presented by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. His family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Humane Society, P. O.
