She passed away after fighting cancer in the same optimistic, selfless, brave and uncomplaining way in which she lived her entire life. An engineer for the Northwest Florida Water Management District, Judy loved most to be out in nature, preferably on the water in one of her many boats. A free and adventurous spirit, Judy loved to travel and collect antiques and curious things from exotic places. She was a wonderful cook who loved entertaining her wide circle of friends with great food, fine wines, home-brewed beer and large martinis. She was a devoted and committed mother to her son Will, whom she loved unconditionally. Judy had time to fall completely in love with his newborn son, Jackson. She was an unconditionally loyal and dependable friend who repeatedly put her own welfare aside to be there for others. Judy is survived by her son, Will; her grandson, Jackson; two brothers, Dr. William Kenyon (and wife Laurie) and Chris Kenyon; two sisters, Patti Fogarty (and husband John) and Pam Kenyon (and husband Mark Faulk Sr.); and her nieces and nephews, Sierra and Tanner Kenyon and Mark Faulk Jr. Published in the Tallahassee Democrat on 1/5/2006. |
