On our way to Pergamon, we stopped for lunch
at the Saglam Restaurant. This was a bustling popular eatery, and several of us tried the specialty recommended by Isa, cheese with butter in a clay dish baked in the oven. Isa also told us that the owner Mehmet was a fine singer. He promised to sing for us later. |
