Emily Gendrolis '03 received an internship at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. According to Emily, "It's like an American Downton Abbey! For an arcivist, this internship is like a dream come true!"

Kenny & Eric Swanson

  

On March 15, 2014, Kenneth Swanson '87 attended his commencement ceremony at Capella University to receive his doctoral hood. His father Erik Swanson, who was the first band director and later assistant principal in Ankara (1984-1990) attended the ceremony.

Kenny was not able to attend the commencement ceremony in 2010 when his father received his doctoral hood. Erik brought his "graduation regalia" to Nashville and they were able to pose together for family portraits.
